Be Attentive to Your Bodys Needs

Be attentive to your Bodys needs.

Many of us want to have overall excellent health, but actually attaining it might seem like a great mystery. Eating a balanced diet is just one of the ways that you can be healthy. Here are some other ways you can improve your health naturally.

Watching The Scale

A good health tip is to not be overly enthusiastic when you buy new clothes. Try on more than one outfit before you go home.  Do they fit the way you want them to?  Does the size make sense especially compared to what you had before?  If it is too big or too small, return it for a different size.  Also, stepping on the scale each morning will help you know if your current diet is working for you or if it’s time to make changes.

As for the food we consume. Good health comes from eating a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats. This is in place of eating processed foods such as cookies, cakes, and highly processed meals.

Eating a healthy diet can improve your health as well as your appearance. Eating too little can affect your looks as well as your health. When you eat less than the amount of food you are supposed to eat, you can suffer from lack of proper nutrients. Lacking in proper nutrients, your body does not function properly and you can cause yourself to be sick from lack of the nutrients to support immune health.

Your Digestive System

The digestive system is not only the way we get proper nutrients, but it is a main way your body protects itself from pathogens. The digestive system is one big part of the immune system, so you need to treat it with the care it deserves. This means paying attention to episodes of diarrhea that can strip the colon of protective bacteria, constipation, and indigestion from being under excess stress or eating the wrong foods.

You can care for your digestive system by eating healthy foods and by taking probiotics, which can replenish the gut with good bacteria. Probiotics can be taken in by eating plain yogurt with live cultures or by eating fermented foods such as sauerkraut and kefir.

Your Cardiovascular System

High blood pressure is a major risk factor for a stroke, heart attack and aneurysm. This means following your blood pressure and pulse cautiously. If you are inactive or have a family history of high blood pressure, you may be suffering from high blood pressure and not know it. This means you have to check your blood pressure every time you run across a blood pressure machine at the drug store or grocery store. When you see the doctor, your blood pressure will be taken as well. If it is consistently elevated, you may need to be on an antihypertensive medication or modify your diet and exercise program, so you can avoid so

Respect Signs Of Stress and Fatigue

If you feel tired, but keep pushing yourself past your limits, you are fighting fatigue on a regular basis instead of taking the time to rest and rejuvenate. Fatigue and low energy are both your body talking to you and letting you know that you need to rest.

Are you ignoring anxiety, instead of looking to erase its sources and lower stress levels? Stress kills, and you are the only one that can take care to reduce this in your body. Your mind, body and spirit are all connected. And some great ways to fight stress and its impact are Tai Chi, meditation, yoga and taking vacations on a regular basis.
